International Projects

The AgriBusiness Group leads and is involved in the development of projects located in the Pacific, Asia and South America as well as undertaking work for regional and international agencies. We are an experienced Management Services Consultant for some large NZ Aid projects.

 

Colombia Dairy Value Chain Project

The AgriBusiness Group, as a leader of a consortia made up of AgResearch, PGG Wrightson and Quality Consultants of New Zealand (QCONZ), has been engaged by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade through the New Zealand Aid Programme to implement the Colombia Dairy Value Chain Project.

 
 

New Zealand Peru Dairy Support Project

The New Zealand Peru Dairy Support Project is a joint New Zealand / Peruvian Government development initiative, with funding from the New Zealand Aid Programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation of Peru (MINAGRI). The AgriBusiness Group managed the design of this project in 2015 and commenced implementation in October 2016.

 
 

Myanmar Dairy Excellence Project

The Myanmar Dairy Excellence Project (MDEP) is funded and initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade through the New Zealand Aid Programme. The AgriBusiness Group managed the Design activity in 2013 and completed Phase 1 and 2. A transition phase is currently underway.

 
 

Projects in the Pacific Islands

Facilitation of the development of the Vanuatu Ministry of Livestock, Forestry, Fisheries and Biosecurity – Policy for organic agriculture.

The AgriBusiness Group facilitated consultation with stakeholders to obtain input into the policy and provided input into the design of the policy.

 
 

Indonesia Diary Excellence Activity

The Indonesia Dairy Excellence Activity (IDEA) is funded and initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade through the New Zealand Aid Programme. The AgriBusiness Group was involved in the design activity in 2014 and procured management of Phase One in May 2016.
